MEET THE AUTHOR
Kerrie Atherton
Kerrie Atherton is the founder of Stories of HOPE and EMPOWER Life Solutions. After her own battle with addiction and suicide, she has been sober for 40 years and is now an author, keynote speaker, mental health first aid trainer, and counsellor.
In everything she does, Kerrie's passion is to help prevent suicide and hopelessness by bringing light to people in times of uncertainty in a changing world.
Five years ago, she founded the global “Stories of Hope" movement, incporporating an online community, local events, and a book series featuring extraordinary stories of ordinary people.
